holy moly!
soooo it's my first blog! and first website! ever! i'm gonna be honest, i have very minimal knowledge about code, so if anyone came here for advice on that, i'm on the same page as you! i'm sure i'll add updates here and there about coding once i learn more, if anyone is interested of course :)
anyways i just wanted to write this first blog kind of as a momento to show when i finally "finished" the website. i've still got a lot to do, but the important stuff is all here!
i've got a background in graphic design, so i would say html and css come a bit easier to me but oh. my. goodness. javascript has absolutely killed me. i do understand a lot more now than i used to, but i can barely formulate a function on my own. i love youtube tutorials. i hate chatGPT, but honestly it did help when i had some suuuuper specific stuff. i gotta do what i gotta do when it comes to things that i so badly want.
these blogs are mostly going to be about my life in japan. i'm supposed to move there this summer! i will definitely use it to talk about other things i'm interested in, but i know i'll have something to talk about pretty much every single day when i'm overseas
welp, it's 2am where i am and i really need to go to bed! i'll dedinitely make more blogs soon talking about my process in getting to japan :)
