thank goodness!

although i will say it's still slightly warm, for october. highs every day are around 25C range (and also very humid since it's raining like every day)

the last two weeks of september was my first long break, and actually the end of my first semester! i'm in a new class now! yippie!

i was kind of dreading the first day back, since i got used to sitting in my apartment doing nothing but playing minecraft with friends and watching movies and not going outside except when i really needed food (and even then i would just talk myself into getting delivery cause i really was lazy this whole time) but i digress. it turned out that i had nothing to dread and i actually loved the change! despite enjoying staying inside and doing nothing, it is a bit depressing and lonely after a while, especially when i can only hang out with my friends in the morning (cause of time change)

the weather was so nice on my first day back. it was cool and windy! i slept early, woke up early, showered AND washed my hair (that literally takes forever usually), got ready for school, and i even washed most of my dishes that were piling up in the sink (lol). and i STILL got to school early! i was so proud of myself. i really need to keep this a habit (note: it has not been a habit, although i've still always arrived early so that's good!)

but yeah, now i'm in a new class and i feel confident i will do well! wish me luck :D

other than that, i don't have too much to talk about. i pretty much did nothing. i had a great time gaming with friends everyday! we decided to try to do a big minecraft server and do a "civilization" kind of thing. it didn't work out quite like we wanted, because i was the only one on break and therefore everyone else was pretty busy, but it was still fun, and we're still going to war (which might not even matter cause like everyone is busy rip)

haha anyways here's a little photo dump from my break!

these were on the day of the big stream for Undertale's 10 year anniversary! it was absolutely HILARIOUS! and so informational! if you don't already know, i am a gigantic fan of Undertale and Deltarune. i played Undertale not too long after it came out, and i've been obsessed ever since. it was the first game i ever got on my very first laptop. watching the stream was such a joy!

this is a brazilian bread that a classmate gave everyone in the class before the break! it was so sweet of her, and it was delicious. can't go wrong with bread

i saw the GOAT TAKANAKA MASAYOSHI in CONCERT! he was awesome and so cool and hilarious and even though i didn't understand everything he said, i could definitely pick up a few things! he's such a cool guy with the best aura even at like 72 or however old he is. it was a really great time and i can't believe i got to see this man. it still doesn't feel real and it's been almost a full month now haha. anyways, after the concert, i explored Nagoya a little bit, since I haven't really done it much. i went to this sky pool thing that had a great view of the tower. there was a very interesting shopping area with tons of places underneath it. there was a harry potter store too! i would have taken a photo inside but there was a lot of people. it was sooo cool though it felt like i was in universal, shopping in a store in the harry potter land. it was extremely well themed! they had a ghibli store too but i had to hold myself back from buying anything. i did buy a cute little towel from the harry potter store that has the "happee birthdae harry" cake embroidered on it. i also had some more mexican food! just tacos this time, it was WAY better than the last time i had mexican food haha. i wanted a mojito so badly but they were out! i usually hate margaritas but i got one anyway because i wanted alcohol lol but IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! that was just an amazing day, everything was wonderful :D

THAT SOBA! oh my goodness. me and my friends went there as soon as class ended for the break. it was genuinely the best meal i've had here. i am obsessed with soba now. i can't describe how good it was, that was how good it was. i always thought i disliked soba but yeah that totally changed my mind. the next day, i went to Nagoya with a friend and we had korean food (pretty good, the chicken was delicious), we saw a multi-story arcade and decided to explore it, which was freaking crazy. they had a whole floor of crane games, which my favorites were the buff kangaroo and MUNCHLAX MY BABY!!! they also had a floor dedicaded to rythym games. FREAK YEAH! dude if you guys have not played sound vortex, you really really need to. it's pretty hard, but very very fun. we also saw a silly banana building. i love it. we visited the OSU shopping area but it was closed already :( we spent too much time in the arcade. i really need to go back because i wanna see it when it's all hustle and bustle. it was literally so dead when we went, i didn't even know it was OSU when we got there. but, still cool to visit. on the way home i saw this adorable soot sprite train hehe

MY FIRST DOMINOES! the leftovers were even better tbh. i just put that in a hot pan and heated both sides until they almost burnt. yummmm crunch crunchy pizza yum. i really like almost burnt things idc they are the tastiest. i also saw a spider lily. cool but ominous. i noticed the next day i passsed it that someone had cut it. and then last but not least, japanese style fajitas! i made it myself, with some gyudon meat i had made the day before. it was SO delicious. best thing i've cooked to be honest. and i think most of it was just because it was so unbelievably oily. like almost gross oily. my stomach was so messed up after eating it but OH WELL it was worth it

anyways! a very eventful break. well, sort of. honestly most of this was from the first few days right before and right after the break LOL. i genuinely did nothing else after this but stay cooped up like a vampire in my room playing minecraft. awesome. but now my new semester has started, i'm almost a week in, and i'm doing great. i'm sure i'll be busy making more memories and therefore more blogs. and, if you haven't checked out the vlog that i worked on over the break, please do! it's pretty cute, and like the first video i've ever made. i'm pretty proud of myself. i really hope to keep making fun videos like that! stay tuned!

welp, that's about all folks! until next time! ♡
